About the Event
Come learn the basics of shooting photos at night and with long exposures – whether it’s landscapes, city scenes, the milky way, the inside of your abode, or the moon – and expand your photo skills. We’ll hold a two-hour morning session inside the classroom, and then meet outside on an agreed-upon evening to complete the field portion of the class. Your instructor will be Dan Plummer from Gallery by the Lake. Sorry, this class is targeted toward those with film or digital cameras, but not phone cameras.
The class will be held in the small conference room at the LSU AG Center, 7101 Gulf Highway, on November 20th, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
EQUIPMENT TO BRING WITH YOU:
- Digital or film camera
- The manual for your camera
- Tripod
- Remote shutter release if you have one
Please note our temporary teaching location at the LSU Ag Center, 7101 Gulf Hwy, Lake Charles, LA 70607, just north of H.G. Chalkley Road. COVID-19 Precautions: Please follow the current CDC mask guidelines.
